I moved from North Dakota to the Vail Valley and married my college sweetheart. We have two grown children, as well as a dog, Katie. I attended The University of North Dakota where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. My passion for working with children has extended throughout my lifetime, including 19 years of teaching at and/or directing various early childhood centers in the Vail Valley. I have had the opportunity to do volunteer mission trips to Peru, Minnesota, and Alabama. I currently assist with an Awana program that works with school aged children teaching the Bible through songs, crafts and memory verses. I enjoy combining my interests/talents with God’s mission, including children, photography, travel, baking, and arts and crafts.
I love teaching, I love the children’s infectious laughter, their creative imaginations and their love of learning. Each day is an adventure filled with wonder, discovery, and opportunities to share, learn and have fun!
