I grew up in Ventura, California. Starting from the time I was in junior high I have worked with children. I’ve had the privilege of teaching Sunday School, babysitting, leading bible studies and working as a day camp counselor for the YMCA. After high school I attended Biola University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies. A week after graduating I married my best friend, Daniel. In June 2017, we traded in the beaches of Ventura for the mountains of Eagle Valley. The experiences I had earlier in life revealed to me how much I enjoy working with preschool age kids. I love being able to watch a child explore and understand how things work for the first time. It is a joy to work at TVCDC where I can not only share my love of learning with children but also my love for Jesus.
When not at work you can find me hiking, attempting to rock climb with my husband or doing a craft at home. I have a Great Pyrenees named Lou, you might see her walking me around Eagle.
