I moved to the Vail Valley 23 years ago after completing my bachelor’s degree in business at McPherson College in Kansas.  I married my college sweetheart and have spent the last 23 years raising our 3 children in this wonderful community.  As my children began their journey through early childhood development I became increasingly interested in their education and the early childhood scene really intrigued me.  I went back to school at Colorado Mountain College and received my Early Childhood Teaching Certificate as well as my Director Certification in 2010. I began my experience in early childhood through a Montessori program and was co-director there for 3 years. As an Early Childhood Teacher working in the classroom with 2 ½ - 6 year olds I sincerely believe that early childhood education is a crucial component to a child’s growth and development.  I love to watch the excitement and joy a child exhibits when they foster a true love for learning.  

In my time in Colorado I have become an avid skier and runner.  I enjoy time chasing my kids around the mountain and watching all their extracurricular activities.  As a family we spend time biking, camping and exploring the mountains.  

The Vail Church and TVCDC are my family and I am truly blessed to work in this rich environment with an amazing team!
