My overall life mission is to love God and love others.
I grew up in Napa Valley, California. The best thing is ever did was to marry the incredible Paul Hammontree. Although we adore our three adult children who live in Louisiana, empty nesting in the mountains of Colorado isn't too bad. Give me all the skiing, hiking, camping and biking!
My career in education spans over thirty years and four states including California, Oregon, Louisiana, and now Colorado. I have enjoyed teaching grades preschool through high school in public schools, private schools, homeschool coops, international online schools, as well as serving in children's ministry at various churches.
My sweet spot for now is early childhood education. Having been a working mom for many years, I have developed a heart for young working families. Coming alongside them in the care and development of their children and encouraging them through all the challenges and joys of parenting is a great privilege and honor for me. I consider the care of children to be a foundational piece of any community. Plus, little kids are just the cutest, funniest things! I keep telling everyone that I have the most adorable job in the valley!
